NMN & NAD+Explainer
You can get your NAD+ back to where it was at 25. These are the trials that showed it.
Your NAD+ peaked at 25. It has been falling ever since. In a clinical trial, NMN restored it to the age-25 peak level.

NAD+ is a molecule every cell in your body runs on.
It begins to drop around 25. 25% is gone by your mid-30s, and 50% is gone by 50.
And it can come back up.
Taking NMN has been shown to more than double NAD+ levels, restoring NAD+ to the level it was at age 25. (This is true on average but not for everyone.)
The trials behind it
The finding comes from 2 human trials.
In the first, healthy men took NMN every day for 12 weeks (Igarashi et al., npj Aging, 2022). Their NAD+ went up, and some of their muscle measures improved.
In the second, 80 healthy adults took NMN or a placebo every day for 60 days (Yi et al., GeroScience, 2023).
Blood NAD+ rose in every group that took NMN. The trial was paid for by the two companies that made the NMN it tested.
A third trial followed 48 recreational runners for 6 weeks, on a placebo or one of 3 daily doses of NMN (Liao et al., 2021). The higher doses produced the greatest gains in aerobic capacity.
Doses up to 2,000 mg per day have been studied in controlled trials.
What more NAD+ does for you
Your cells use NAD+ to make energy and to repair damage. So when it falls, they get worse at both at once.
Getting it back up supports 7 things: longevity, DNA repair, cellular energy, your brain, your heart, cellular cleanup and your skin.
How NMN raises NAD+
Your body makes NMN for one purpose: to rebuild NAD+.
NMN converts to NAD+ in a single step and goes straight to work.
Taking NMN every day will substantially increase your NAD+ levels.
So what matters is whether the capsule holds the right molecule, in the amount the research used.
What to check on the label
The amount. More than half of the NMN supplements sold today deliver 500 mg or less. In the runners’ trial, the higher doses did the most.
The form. Only the beta form of NMN builds NAD+, so look for a label that names it.
The lab result. In 2021, a test found 14 out of 22 NMN supplements contained less than 1% of the NMN on the label (Niagen Bioscience, 2021).
That was a different set of products. When an independent 3rd-party lab measured NMN-99 and 5 top competitors in September 2026, each competitor delivered 90% or more of its label.
That testing was commissioned and paid for by the maker of one of the six products tested.
The NMN that measured highest
NMN-99 measured highest in that lab test: 1,139.6 mg of NMN per serving, against 1,000 mg on its label.

More than double the NMN of 4 out of the 5 top competitors tested.

It’s made with Uthever only, the world’s first patented NMN, with its own randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled human trial behind it. Uthever holds 7 patents and is verified at 99+% purity in the beta form.
Every serving delivers a full 1,000 mg, the daily dose recommended by leading longevity experts. In a controlled trial, NMN at this level raised blood NAD+ 3.7 times above placebo (Bhasin et al., 2023).
